Identifying your storm drain problem

Our fully qualified plumbers will locate the problem in your storm drain without digging up your pavement. How?

With our video inspection equipment.

We'll feed a tiny video camera down into your storm drain, which will send video images back to our team, so they can locate any blockages, cracks or corrosion. We'll explain exactly what's wrong and your options for fixing it.

Removing blockages in your storm drain

There are several different ways we can unblock your storm drain, including:

  • Blow bag — a large bag, which looks like a deflated balloon, is filled with water and once full, the water is flushed into the storm drain to break up any blockages
  • Cable rodding — also known as snaking and rootering; a metal cable is passed into your storm drain to break up any blockages
  • Hydrojetting — high-pressure water is passed into your storm drain to break up any blockages

Depending on the size and location of the blockage, our experienced plumbers will apply the most appropriate method to quickly and effectively unblock your storm drain.

Repairing cracked or corroded storm drains

If your storm drain is cracked or corroded, you can still get it repaired without digging up your pavement thanks to CIPP — Cured In Place Pipe Lining.

This technology allows us to fit a new storm drain pipe within your existing pipe.

A flexible liner coated with epoxy resin will be passed into your storm drain and inflated. Within hours it will harden, creating a seamless, jointless and more durable pipe that is resistant to cracks, root intrusion and corrosion.
